HAYWARD, CA - April 18, 2006 - Brent Meyers, Manex CEO, tapped for NIST Innovation Steering Group

Roger Kilmer, Director of the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), selected Mr. Meyers and five others for a nationwide Innovation Steering Group, chartered to position the MEP system as a product and process innovation catalyst for U.S. small and medium-sized manufacturers.

The Group will help MEP develop a portfolio of innovation products and services designed to create business value and global differentiation for enterprises across the U.S. As part of this effort, the Group will define an MEP innovation services framework, establish new innovation and partnership models, and launch initial training to enable the national rollout throughout MEP affiliate consulting organizations.
